The work continues. . .

This is a bit of a late post, but I wanted to show a little of what I'm working on now. This is a pic of the new ones I've got going at the moment. I'm also going to be adding some more things to a painting I started last year and thought was finished. Sometimes it pays to let a painting sit a while before you decide it's done.

A quick update

I've been tinkering a little more with the website and I think I'm getting closer to what I wanted. It's still a work in progress, and I imagine it will remain so. I did some more work on a new forest painting yesterday and I'm thinking it might just be close to finished. Maybe today it will be done. Here's a shot of it right now:

The First Time

There's always a first time for everything, and this is the time for my first blog post. Ever.

So thanks for taking the time to read this, and thanks for visiting my site. I was working very hard trying to get it perfect and was just beating my head against the wall in the process. So I finally decided that it was good enough for now. It is an ongoing work, and will probably change quite a bit, so I figured why get so frustrated trying to make the first incarnation so perfect? Nothing is ever perfect anyway. So here it is, and here I am.

A little about what this is going to be: I've been kicking around the idea of publishing a blog for a while now. Any of you who know me have probably heard me at one time or another mention my desire to start a blog. Well, the time has finally come. As with everything on this site, the blog will be a work in progress. It won't be simply about my art, or the process of creating my art. It (hopefully) will be about much more. There will be the usual updates on what I'm working on, or what I am going to be doing, but there will also be random musings and whatever comes to my mind that I feel like sharing. Sound fun? I hope so. I will do my best to make it fun for all and entertaining reading. Maybe even a little educational, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

So let's get on this ride and enjoy this adventure together, shall we?
